Today at West Volusia KC in Deland FL, "Nova" was awarded WB for 3 point major and became a Champion :)) "CH Kloofbear's American Popstar", under judge Mrs Terry Goldman. Big congratulations to Josette and big thank you to Kim and Jess Chonko :) (Evja x Chilly)

So many months has gone since I last update the News page. We have been without internet connection, my computer crashed, major alteration to the house amongst a few of the things.
Many of my puppies have done well in the show ring and received different working titles.
Kloofbear's Perfect Storm RN "Ellie" was the first newfie to be awarded a title for "Nose Work", Ellie has also received two more points toward her Champion title. ( Stormy x Edison)
Kloofbear's Sweet Nellie by the Sea WRD, CD, "Nellie" has been awarded WB 3 times and has 3 points toward her Champion title. ( Angel x Polo)
VN GCH Kloofbear's Over the Rainbow Timberknoll "Ellie" has received many BOB, BOS and selects, and has now over 200 breed points. (Sonja x Oz)
Kloofbear's Miles Away "Miles" went to his first Specialty show in Germany and came second in his class with tough competition. Judge was Roger Frey. ( Tara x Rio)
Kloofbear's Beginners Luck "Lucky" received her first point in June and at the BMNC Specialty she came first in the Bred By class. (Mischief x Polo) Bred and shown by Monica de Reus
Kloofbear's On the Road Again "Willie" was awarded a 3 point major at his very first show in Raleigh NC, and has since then been awarded 2 more points toward his Champion title. One of the days he was also BOB. (Crystal x Chilly)
OFA results came back for Kloofbear's Lady in Red "Scarlet" Hips Good and Elbows Normal, Heart Normal and Cystinuria Clear.

"Edison" got another Select for a 5 point major towards his Grand Champion title, little "Scarlet" went once again Reserve Winner.
"Big Irish" Kloofbear Irish Thunder WD, CGC, won Winners Dog and Best of winners for another point at the Fort Bend County Club in Texas. Judge was Mr. David Bolus. Congratulations to Mitchell Ayer and Big Irish :) (Evja x Troy)
"Ellie" Kloofbear's Perfect Storm RN is the first Newfoundland to get a title in Canine Nose Work, NW 1. Congratulations to Suzanne and Ellie :)) (Stormy x Edison)

"Tara" was awarded WB and Best Opposite Sex for a 3 point major and became a New Champion, at the Clearwater Kennel Club in Florida under judge Nikki Riggsbee. She is now CH Kloofbear's Tara O'Hara (Sonja x Basil)
"Scarlet" got Reserve Winner to her mother and "Edison" was awarded another Select for a 5 point major towards his Grand Champion title. A very good day, and big thanks to Jennifer Bittner for working so hard with all our dogs :))

"Edison" received another 3 point major today and became a Champion :)) He is now know as CH Kloofbear's Limited Edition. At the Manatee Kennel Club under judge Dr. Ralph Graff. Well done Eddie and Jennifer :)). (

"Edison" was again awarded Winners Dog and Best of Winner for a 4 point major under judge Dr. Klaus Anselm at the Tampa Bay Kennel Club. (Tara x Bart) His sister "Scarlet" Kloofbear's Lady in Red took Reserve Winner :) Once again well done Edison and Lara!! (Tara x Polo)
